Terms and Conditions

For events organized and offered by Marion and Michel

Personal and Private Use

Participants are solely responsible for ensuring that their psychological state has the stability necessary to take part in the seminars and retreats. In case of doubt, they should consult a qualified professional who can help them make an informed decision on the matter. The organizers cannot, under any circumstances, be held liable for a participant's reaction to the methods used.

The content of the retreats and seminars is intended for the private and personal use of the participants. The organizers wish to prevent unauthorized reproduction of the material used by unqualified individuals. By accepting these terms, participants agree not to share or reproduce this content, in whole or in part, for third parties, whether for private or professional use, free of charge or paid.

The confidentiality of what is expressed during the seminars and retreats must be respected. Audio or video recordings by participants are not permitted.

The organizers may record segments of the seminars or retreats for teaching purposes. They may use portions of these recordings for educational purposes in the context of other programs or events intended to provide information about the teachings. For example, question-and-answer sessions may be used in which participants' contributions are audible but participants do not appear on screen. The same applies to demonstrations or individual guidance sessions. Only participants who agree to be featured may volunteer for demonstrations or individual guidance sessions.

Any interaction with Marion and Michel during online programs or in-person events implies the participant's consent to the use of their image when the event is filmed or photographed.

Additional photos or videos of the events may also be taken outside of or during the teachings in order to promote the teaching of Marion Llopis and Michel Favre, including via emails, social media, or the Marion and Michel website.

These photos/videos may be used for a period of 5 years.

Any participation in an online or in-person program implies the participant's full consent to the use of their image, whether in the form of a screenshot or a photograph.

Retreat Venue

For in-person courses or retreats (residential or otherwise), if a participant causes damage to the seminar or retreat venue or to the property where they take place, they agree to cover the costs of restoring the premises, various repairs, etc. They will receive a statement from the venue detailing the nature of the damage and its cost. Payment will be made directly to the venue. In certain specific cases, payment may need to be made to Marion and Michel instead of the venue.

Postponements and Cancellations

Any request for postponement must be made before the start of the seminar. A participant may postpone their participation to another date of the same seminar free of charge if the request is made more than one month before the seminar. Less than one month in advance, postponement requests may exceptionally be accepted if none of the seminars are full.

Cancellation of registration by the participant is possible if it occurs more than 2 months before the seminar.

In the event of absence from part or all of the seminar after it has begun, no refund will be given. The full amount of the seminar is due in the event of absence or suspension of the training for any reason whatsoever.

In the case of installment payments, the full amount is due as soon as the first deposit/installment is paid. The full payment is due whether or not the participant took part in the entire seminar.

The organizer reserves the right to cancel the event if there are an insufficient number of registrants, as well as to change the seminar venue, schedule, and type of accommodation in the case of a residential seminar. The organizer also reserves the right to freely refuse any registration.

Payment Terms

All our invoices are payable in full in cash unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing. In the event of non-payment by the due date, they will automatically be subject, without formal notice, to late payment interest calculated at an annual rate of 12% from the due date until payment in full. They will also be subject to a fixed and non-reducible penalty clause of 15% of the total invoice amount as damages, with a minimum of €75. In the event of payment being more than 30 days overdue, we will forward the file to a collection agency, and the costs relating to this procedure (30% of the outstanding amount) will be borne by the participant and will be immediately added to the outstanding invoice.

Acceptance

Acceptance by email of these terms, or the acceptance, signature, or emailing of a completed registration form, or checking a box accepting these terms, constitutes unreserved acceptance of these general terms and conditions.

Governing Law

In the event of a contradiction between our general terms and conditions and those of the other party, only our general terms and conditions shall apply. In the event of a dispute, French law shall apply, and the courts of the judicial district of Gap shall have sole jurisdiction.
